Due to an increasing order book Metalock UK based in Coventry are currently looking to employ On Site Machinists for contracts within the UK and overseas in Europe, Asia, Scandinavia, North America and the Middle East.
If you can’t transport the job to a machine shop then Metalock UK transport large portable machining equipment to the job wherever it may be.
We need to hear from
Experienced On Site Machinists.
OR
Work shop machinists that work in heavy engineering, including Turners, Millers, Horizontal Borers, Vertical Borers who would like to apply their own specialist machining skills in a site working environment.
The work is challenging and interesting and it and requires a high level of engineering understanding.
Metalock UK conduct their site machining activities on a global basis so we are looking for adventurous candidates with a love of travel and a desire to work and use their specialist skills in all types of challenging environments. We travel all over the world in support of all types of global industry.
One day on a ship in the Caribbean the next in a steel works in India, that’s just the norm. You could be working as part of a team on very large projects or working in a 2man team on a smaller project. Your engineering knowledge will be challenged and expanded in all situations.
You must have a “thinking outside the box mentality” and a “can do” attitude.
All applicants must have served a recognised engineering apprenticeship and be based within the UK. They must be confident, resourceful, physically fit and have a current passport. You must be willing to travel worldwide at very short notice and in some cases be prepared to stay up to 5 weeks on site before repatriation to UK.
